Clinical supervision is offered by Jessica Dogali, LMHC-D, CASAC, BC-TMH. Jessica enjoys the opportunity to supervise and assist new clinicians with the development of their clinical counseling skills and their careers. As a professor of Adelphi University’s Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology Mental Health Counseling and General Psychology Master’s programs, Jessica works closely with students by guiding them through their studies to become ethical, empathetic, and successful clinicians. Jessica values the opportunity to form mentoring relationships with her students and is committed and dedicated to their professional development and success. She sees it as a true honor and a privilege to be a part of their professional development.
With her vast experience professionally, along with her experience teaching, Jessica offers a unique lens and perspective of clinical supervision services to both pre-licensed and licensed clinicians. Jessica’s objective as a clinical supervisor is to provide you with both a deep understanding of counseling and an exceptional supervision experience.
Clinical supervision allows you the opportunity to grow as a clinician, explore your own transference and countertransference with clients, and enhances your clinical practice and skills. Jessica takes pride in the ability to help new clinicians achieve success by providing them with a collaborative supervision style that promotes and fosters their education and development of skills.
As a clinical supervisor, Jessica’s role involves creating an environment that allows the supervisee to learn and grow, thus fostering movement to the next developmental level as a counselor. The goal of supervision is to provide mentoring and coaching to counselors with various levels of training and preparation. The objective for supervision is to provide the supervisee with feedback and guidance related to their counseling knowledge, ability, and skills with diverse groups of clients.
